Dr. Betancourt: John and I first met in 2005, and we were introduced and we hit off right away. We had similar interests and when it gets right down to it and when we get to work, the way we like to practice and how we like to interact with patients and the services we provide, we're very, very similar. We find ourselves in a position today where we really love what we do and we work fantastic together.
Lauren: Dr. Pinnix is a very fun, great person to work with. He's very intelligent in his field. He's really not just one aspect of the whole cosmetic dentistry, it's the actual whole piece.
Dr. Betancourt: I think one of the greatest things he brings to what he does is just a very meticulous approach and striving for perfection. I think in dentistry, in particular cosmetic dentistry, you have to be that way. You have to be perfect. There is no room for error and everything matters. It's not just about getting the right tooth shade. We look at the smile as a whole and John is fantastic and he demands the best of himself.
It's really about a smile design, and John can envision an entire case and treatment plan. Something else several months with the anticipation of what it's going to look like. He's fabulous at discussing that with the patient. He takes pride in his knowledge base, which is extensive and being able to design a smile with the patient as part of the team is fantastic. And not stopping short of perfection and until everybody is happy I'd say is one of his greatest qualities.
