Believe it or not, Invisalign is no more expensive than orthodontic treatment with braces. While the cost does vary from patient to patient, the price is usually dependent on the extent of misalignment, not the form of orthodontics.

What if I miss a day of treatment?
Invisalign is a gradual process, so missing one day of your treatment plan isn't the end of the world. However, don't make breaks a habit, as it can end up significantly prolonging your timeline. Think of every day you miss as a day you have to make up to achieve the best results possible.
Are you sure I don't need to see an orthodontist?
Yes. Invisalign is an innovative treatment system that can be provided by orthodontists and dentists alike. By choosing our Charlotte practice for Invisalign, you can enjoy continuity of care from a team that offers a comprehensive range of services. There's no need to hop around to multiple offices.
Does Invisalign treatment hurt?
It's normal to experience mild discomfort as your teeth adjust to each new set of clear aligners. However, this discomfort is typically much less than you would expect after a braces tightening appointment, will only last a few days, and can be managed well with over-the-counter medication.
Can I really eat whatever I want during treatment?
Yes! That's one of the best things about Invisalign. The aligners are completely removable and pop right out with ease. You can eat and drink all your favorites throughout treatment. All you have to do is make sure you put your aligners in a safe place during meals, brush thoroughly after eating, and then put your aligners back in right after.
Do I really need to wear a retainer after treatment is complete?
Yes. Even after your teeth are straightened, the bones and soft tissues in your mouth need a little extra time to adjust. If you don't wear a retainer or your last aligner after treatment, your teeth will start to revert back to their original misaligned position. This is why many people who had braces as children end up needing more orthodontic care as adults. You can prevent that common issue by being diligent about wearing your retainer at night.
